We’ve known for a couple of weeks or so that Verizon is getting ready to launch its own version of the LG Optimus LTE, the LG’s first HD LTE Android device. This device is going to be called LG Spectrum, and it will be available starting January 19th for $249.99 to $299.99 with a two-year contract.  LG Android Phones

You all should know plenty about this LG Spectrum by now but if not you can check out our full review here as well as an earlier review of the LG Optimus LTE before it got tagged with the Verizon logo.  LG Cell Phone News

The LG Spectrum features the following;

  • Android 2.3 Gingerbread
  • 4.5″ 720 x 1280 True HD IPS display, protected by Gorilla Glass
  • 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S3 processor
  • 8MP autofocus rear camera with 1080p HD video recording
  • 1.3MP front camera
  • 1GB of RAM
  • 4GB of on-board storage, 16GB micro SD card pre-installed
  • 4G LTE connectivity
  • Mobile hotspot shares up to 10 connections
  • Android 2.3
  • 1830mAh battery (optional 3000mAh extended battery available at launch)
  • Bluetooth 3.0
  • GPS, Wi-Fi
  • Swype
  • Dimensions:  5.33″ x 2.71″ x .41″
  • Weight: 4.99 oz.

As an LG Optimus LTE owner, I can vouch for this device. It might not be the iPhone 4S but it’s very responsive, pack vanilla Android and get the job done. LG Cell Phone Previews
