If you’re looking for a new capable Android smartphone but aren’t willing to spend anything on it, the Verizon LG Lucid 4G must be the best choice for you. Now you can get it for free at Wirefly and a measly $0.01 at Amazon (provided that you have nothing against signing a new two-year contract with the carrier of course).

The LG Lucid 4G offers a 4 inch WVGA Nova display protected by Gorilla Glass, a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, front-facing camera, a 5-megapixel rear camera with 1080p video recording, DLNA, 4G LTE support, GPS, Bluetooth 3.0, Wifi, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of built-in memory with an microSD card slot, a 1700mAh battery and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The LG Lucid 4G measures 119.1 x 62.2 x 11.4 mm and weighs 142 grams.

That said, an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich may or may not be waiting once you power the device on. Anyway, if you’re interested in picking up a ThunderBolt, Verizon is patiently waiting for your order.
