A new software update for the LG G2 on Verizon is introducing a handful of bug fixes and improvements such as visual voicemail interface and additional connectivity when roaming internationally.

LG G2 owners on the “Now Network” should find the VS98027A update hitting their devices these days. Here’s what to look forward to when the update finally drops:

  • Connectivity when roaming in Puerto Rico has been improved
  • Will allow users to opt in for the Advanced Calling 1.0 service
  • Will enable 4G LTE Data Roaming Globally with partner networks
  • Google Mobile Service Apps updated
  • Replaced ISIS Wallet with Softcard
  • Enhanced Visual Voice Mail user interface
  • Enhanced stability of HD Voice and Video calls
  • Implemented Data Usage Counter for Video calls
  • Updated my Verizon mobile for Advanced Calling Self Provisioning

Verizon says the rollout starts today. To manually check to see if the software update is available for your device, jump into your Settings > System updates > Update LG software > Check now.
