Verizon LG enV Touch Ringtone Volume Issue

I Just got the Verizon LG enV Touch and for the most part I really like it but the ringtone volume is no very loud. I notice that the Verizon LG enV Touch doesn’t have any external speakers and that’s a big disappointment to me. I already set the ringtone volume to the highest level and it’s still hard to hear when the phone is ringing especially when I place it down somewhere. Does any body feel the same way, or am I just loosing my hearing? If anyone else noticed this or if there may be adjustments in future software upgrades. I was also wondering if there is a site that may have louder then normal ringtones that may fix this issue for me. LG-enV touch info

  1. i have the same issue with my env touch the only site i found that has louder ringtones is go to ringtones and they have categories for rock country ect ect.. or you can go to www. search for ringtone make sure you send them as mms picture message for there is no charge.. hope this helps

  2. I have the same issue, AND, the ringtones do NOT come thru the bluetooth ear piece (jawbone2 and blueant q1) as they did w/my crappy Rokr E8. Been looking for the solution, but haven’t found one yet….

  3. WEll what i dont understand is my son has the env 3 and it is extremely loud so why not the touch.. Im considering not keeping the phone due to the volume i miss to many calls and text its ridiculous

  4. Have exactly the same problem. ALso the music player isnt loud even with the phone open. I always turn the music on when I;m in the shower and I can barley hear some songs. It’s not what I expected.

  5. I have the same problem. On my previous phone (Samsung) I downloaded ringtones and they were much louder than the resident tones. On the LG, I downloaded the same ringtones and now on this phone they are much softer than the already not loud ringtones. I got the credit back from Verizon since they are now useless. Can’t hear the phone at all. Next time I get a phone I will make sure there are external speakers.

  6. I have the same problem. Verizon wants $35 restocking fee to exchange this phone. I used Audacity to up the volume of my ringtones, but they are not clear on the Touch. I think the $35 restocking fee violates NYS law, as it is not posted in the stores.
