LG will release a special edition of the LG Optimus Black via Telus in Canada this Summer, called LG Optimus Black Skype Edition. LG Android Phones

The phone is launched in collaboration with Skype, one of the most popular software applications for internet calls in the last few years. Anyway, the special version of the LG Optimus Black will come pre-loaded with Skype app, making it the "first Skype-branded phone on the Canadian market". The release stated that the TELUS LG Optimus Black will come with 60 minutes of Skype international calling for free, and, get this, Skype credits will be charged directly to your Telus bill. Specs wise, the LG Optimus Black Skype Edition remains unchanged, boasting a 5-megapixel camera with flash, 2 MP front-facing camera, 4-inch NOVA touchscreen, HSPA and WiFi connectivity, GPS, Bluetooth, 1 GHz TI processor, 512 MB of RAM, 2 GB of internal storage, 3.5mm headset jack, and 1500 mAh battery. but….. skype only works with back cam….. no video call only calls 🙁
