I’m thinking of getting this phone. Does anyone know if you can download ringotnes or make your own ringtones and set them for each person when they call or is it like the LG Dare where you can’t do anything

Michael W on 28 December, 2009 at 4:25 pm #

i got this phone almost a month ago and within a couple of days i found out some things i didn’t like about it:
- can’t control the music from the external side of the phone (unless someone can tell me)
- can’t set shortcut keys to control volume when using the music player. (using the buttons on the side of the phone is kind of awkward)
- the txting system on the external side isn’t as good as my old krzr (i know you’re supposed to use the keyboard but sometimes i like to do it the old way)
- can’t set my own mp3s as ringtones
- can’t use the camera’s flash on its own as a flashlight (again, if someone can figure it out, please tell me.)
- the interface for the music player feels laggy
other than that, the phone is fine. it’s my first qwerty keyboard phone, so i plan to keep it for awhile. but if anyone can tell me how to resolve any of these issues then i would be greatful.

Avary E on 29 December, 2009 at 10:55 am #

um Michael W.
just hit the end call key.
The music player will give you three options. click send to desktop

Courtney on 1 January, 2010 at 10:43 pm #

Michael W.
You can control the volume when using the music player. There should be arrow buttons on the side of the phone beside the camera button.

Courtney on 1 January, 2010 at 10:44 pm #

Also, does anyone know how to change the font color, or the text color on the phone?

kejtgfjekwrt on 2 January, 2010 at 10:56 am #

Trevor on 8 February, 2010 at 10:22 pm #

Does anybody know if Verizon phones from the US can be activated on the Telus network? Over here, this phone is called the enV3, and comes in blue and maroon…i cross the border a lot, and I have the phone here, but not enough money to buy a new Canadian version.

Ray on 9 February, 2010 at 6:56 am #

I just got this, so am still trying to figure it out. I gotta say, the keypad is TOO CLICKY. If you plan on txting from your desk at work a lot, in a quiet office. Don’t get this phone.

Ann on 5 March, 2010 at 9:45 am #
