In that arrangement, up until yesterday T-Mobile G-Slate set you back $529.99 (after a $100 mail-in rebate). But, from today on, it will only be $399.99 (after a $200 mail-in rebate). That certainly makes the Galaxy Tab more appealing for those who haven’t gotten on the newly-rediscovered tablet bandwagon just yet thanks to prohibitive pricing.
The T-Mobile G-Slate has a 8.9 inch touchscreen display (1280×768) and runs Google’s Android 3.0 Gingerbread operating system, Tegra2 chipset with 1GHz dual-core processor, a 5 megapixel 3D camera, 1080p(2D)/720p(3D) video, as well as 3.5G data speeds and 32GB of built-in storage. There is an HDMI port too.
