We just got a report from the guys over at androidcentral, to let us know that the SIM free version of the LG Optimus G will be available in the UK, expected in the next 5 days.

The LG Optimus G is said to have support for LTE on-board 800/900/1800/2100/2600Mhz, and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean update out of the box.

Other specifications on the LG Optimus G include a 4.7-inch True HD (high-definition) IPS Plus display (1280 x 768) with Corning Gorilla Glass 2, 32GB of memory, 2GB of RAM, and a 2,100 mAh battery.

The black SIM free version of the LG Optimus G will cost £479.99 at Expansys, and customers can go here to buy it online.
