i think this lg gs 290 is the worst thing i ever bought coz within two months its left side of touch screen has stopped working so i request to all the people that plz plz dnt waste ur money plz DNT BUY THIS LG GS 290

i think for sure LG MOBILE should b ashamed on there prodects .and they should b .they should b banned if they cant deliver there best .left side isnt working it means they r faar faar behind from nokia ,samsung sony.they shuld b ashamed.if they r not then they r shamless FOR SURE.

gowri-you must go into the menu and go to the calibration settings, if this don’t work then your phone is just screwed up.

After keying in 1809#*350# for LG Cookie Pro and 1809#*290# for LG Cookie Fresh, both instances returned the error message:
USSD Code running. Connection problem or invalid MMI code. Has anyone else experienced this and successfully corrected the error?

It seems that all GS290′s has the same problem – the touchscreen. Mine has got screwed up several months ago & my girlfriend’s also did this … Generally the phone is not something special, but it’s cool – a budget “smartphone”

dont about others but i got a sucess to reset all factory reset includig ATMT reset for my GS500v cookie. for caution just back u r data including contacts becoz i lost my contacts .
