Here ya go folks, you can now install the CyanogenMod 11 custom rom on your LG L90 D405 / D410.

Downloads:

Installation:

  1. Download and place the CM11 and Gapps to the root of your SD card
  2. Reboot into CWM / TWRP
  3. Make a backup of your current ROM
  4. Make a Full Wipe (System / Data / Cache / Dalvik)
  5. Select the zip of the ROM, Flash the Rom
  6. Select the GApps zip, Flash the Gapps
  7. Once installation is complete, restart
  8. Profit!

LG G Flex 2 launches at Sprint on March 13 with free Quick Circle case

We’ve heard that the LG G Flex 2 was going to become available from Sprint on March 13. The price is going to be $504 totally, and for that amount of cash you’ll get a free Quick Circle case which nicely matches the device (seen pictured below). The case will retail for $59.99, so it’s a nice bit of savings if you intended to get one anyway.

LG G Flex 2 available for pre-order from Sprint, ships by March 13

The highly anticipated LG G Flex 2 smartphone is now available for pre-order from the U.S. carrier – Sprint. Those interested in the handset now can pre-order one from Sprint’s web page where it is priced at $0 down and 24 monthly payments of $21. Full price of the device comes to $504 (excluding taxes).

As far as specs for Sprint’s LG G Flex 2, you still get that a Qualcomm’s 64-bit, octa-core Snapdragon 810 processor, a curved, flexible 5.5-inch 1080p P-OLED display, a 13 MP rear camera with laser auto focus, 3 GB of RAM, 32 GB of expandable storage space, a 3000 mAh battery and Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box.  It weighs 152 grams and measures 149.1 x 75.3 x 9.4 mm.

The LG G Flex 2 will be be arriving at Sprint on March 13 in two color options: Platinum Silver (will also be sold by AT&T and US Cellular) and Volcano Red (a Sprint exclusive).

Sprint pushing Android 5.0 Lollipop to LG G3

After watching as the last of the AT&T LG G3′s received their updates to Lollipop last week, it’s now time to finish up work on Sprint’s model of the G3. The OTA update, in fact, brings the flagship LG smartphone up to Android 5.0, but not Android 5.0.1.

The update includes all the usual improvements of Lollipop, plus a few from LG and Sprint. Here’s the rundown of improvements:

  • Material Design for fluid animation, multicolored themes and 3D views
  • More efficient battery use
  • Android™ TV support
  • Notifications on the lock screen and customizable options with prioritized notifications for events, reminders, messages and calls
  • Updated Lock Screen features allow users to quickly access notifications and active apps
  • Enhanced low vision and color blind capabilities for added Accessibility
  • Integrated location menu enables users to easily activate GPS, Wi-Fi and mobile networks, while simultaneously checking the battery usage of apps running location service capabilities
  • Enhanced Messaging with Google Hangouts™ support for SMS and MMS and a larger assortment of updated Emoji icons
  • Upgraded Google Mobile Service™ apps automatically back up photos and video and can open, view, rename and share Google Docs and files
