According to an LG representative for the Netherlands and Belgium cited by TechTastic, LG is preparing to release Android 5.0 Lollipop Update to its G3 by the end of this year. This means, if everything goes right, the update should be hitting the LG G3 phablet in December.

Hopefully more LG devices will be blessed with Android 5.0 Lollipop goodness such as the LG G Pro 2, LG G3 S, G3 Stylus, G2 and the mid-range L90 and L70. Anyway, we’ll be here to let you know when new details about this arrive.
