LG has yet another lollipop-phone coming out. The company has issued a press release for the new LG Lollipop 2 phone. This LG Lollipop 2 is a clamshell phone, designed with the young, text-happy teens and tweens in mind. LG Cell Phone News
The LG Lollipop 2 clamshell phone comes in three models, where among them include the LG SU430, LG KU4300 and LG LU4300, which will be available in different cellular operators – SK Telecom, Korea Telecom, and LG Telecom. LG Cell Phone Previews
In addition, LG brings to this new Lollipop 2 a 2.5 time more hidden LED (hidden under the phone lid) with 220 LEDs in total – that is more than double the number of LEDs found in its predecessor, giving modders a whale of a time to modify the phone with their desired graphics or animation, as well as having specific animation for your SMS, e-Mail and calls. The LG Lollipop 2 will also feature 5 different “Cute” themes or skins for your GUI, a DMB TV tuner, a built-in digital camera and GPS navigation among others.

I have had the LG HBM-800 bluetooth headset for a few days, and I looked high and low for it, it’s really good while using my LG Versa. The first thing I noticed was that it was lightweight, but not super comfortable inside my ear. It did start to hurt a little bit after my 30 min commute. LG Cell Phone Accessories
After making and receiving several calls with the unit. Here are my opinions:
- The speakerphone is clear and loud enough.
- People on the other side of the conversation had no problems hearing me. Note: I can’t speak in to it when it’s right in front of me. The mic is on the left side so you would need to talk to it when fastened to the right side of the car visor.
- My phone has GPS and I was able to use the speakerphone to get audible directions without a hitch.
- If I go out of range and come back I get reconnected with a push of a button, except when the headset automatically turns off after some time. The cradle doesn’t turn off automatically.
But the LG HBM-800 bluetooth headset has small controls, and we wish it had a more comfortable fit. The call quality could be improved. Overall, despite a few issues, the LG HBM-800 bluetooth headset is a good solution if you want both a Bluetooth headset and a speakerphone in one package.

Great news for you LG fans out there! LG today announced its new LG GD880 Mini with a full complement of intelligent features. The LG GD880 Mini has a slew of features including a large 3.2-inch full touch screen with an aspect ration of 16:9, a 5-megapixel camera, FM radio, Wi-Fi, A-GPS and 7.2Mbps HSDPA into the sleek device. The LG GD880 Mini also has some unique features, like: Social Network Connect (for keeping in touch with online friends), Social Network Feed (showing automatic updates on the home screen), and a Social Address Book. Availability wise, the LG Mini GD880 will go on sale in Europe from this March, though the price that was still unknown. LG didn’t say if it plans to showcase the phone at MWC (but it probably will).
