Good news for owners of LG Optimus 2X P990 as the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update has already been rolled out and can be downloaded from LG’s official site.

If you live in the Europe and so, good luck, you can directly update your phone to the Android 4.0 ICS by using its official LGMobile support tool. If not, never mind, the kdz file can be downloaded now, you can manually update your phone as well.

Here you can download the KDZ file follow the download link. The file is 30A version and about 697MB, and the update should take you about 30 minutes and leave your device info intact though, a back up is suggested.

Hey I have a question. I have a p990hN from fido. I have custom rom cm7.2 and want to go back to stock. If I re flash the firmware with smart flash or kdz, will my phone be carrier locked again? If so then how do I unlock it?
