MetroPCS USA has officially introduced the LG Connect 4G, a new Android smartphone designed to be an inexpensive starter LTE smartphone for folks upgrading from less expensive feature phones, but still packing the power and flexibility of Android. LG Android Phones

As we’ve already seen last week, the LG Connect 4G has a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, a 4-inch WVGA NOVA display with Gorilla Glass, a 5 megapixel camera can record 720p HD video, a front-facing camera for video calls, 4G LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPS, Dolby Mobile sound, pre-loaded Rhapsody Unlimited Music service and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. There’s no official word on how much the LG Connect 4G will cost, and neither on when exactly MetroPCS intends to launch it. If previous rumors are to be believed, the phone will be online and in stores within the next month, with MetroPCS’s $50 and $60 per month smartphone plans. LG Cell Phone News
