i turned off 3g on my vu and now I can get picture messages whereas I was having an issue before.

This works for the LG Invision as well. I started having problems where I could not make any phone calls using 3G, after disabling it, my phone works great.

I have tried this and I hope it works. Yet I don’t understand how tirning off 3G will keep my battery longer??

Don’t recommend this. After I tried this it made me experience situations where I have 5 bars, then go to make a call and it says “service unavailable”
