It seems that LG is planning to introduce more than three its new Android smartphones – the LG Vu III, G2 and Optimus L9 II on August 7 in New York.

Like the G2 LG named, the Vu III will no longer use Optimus branding. The Vu III will have three model numbers in South Korea (corresponding to each major mobile carrier): F300S, F300L, and F300K.

As for the hardware specifications, the handset will have the unique 4:3 ratio aspect found on older Vu devices, though this time the resolution will be bumped up to 1280 x 960. No further details regarding specifications have been provided, but they will likely be revealed next week at the event launch. We’ll let you know when it happens.
