Call *228,  that is a Verizon feature called Over the Air Programming (OTA). LG-voyager info

When you first got your LG Voyager, didn’t you have to dial *228 then press 1 before you could start using the phone?

Verizon recommends calling *228 then pressing 2 once a month to update the PRL. On the back of your LG Voyager, above the camera lens, it should have a sticker that says ‘OTA Capable’.
