Another LG’s entry level messaging phone, the LG Tritan, has landed at Alltel. To recap what we know so far about this side-slider, it sports a 3-inch QVGA touchscreen, 3-megapixel camera, 64MB of internal storage, stereo Bluetooth, GPS, EVDO-flavoured 3G, and a tragic 2.5mm headphone jack. The factory battery that comes with the phone drained waayyyy too fast! Wasn’t realistic to expect a battery to last only through a few calls and text messages. Sister got same phone at same time and same problem. BUT – purchased spare battery through LG’s website, and the second battery rocks – lasts a good amount of time.

I agree that the battery power is insufficient. We purchased two of these phones a week ago, and find that we must recharge twice a day, instead of once every 3 or 4 days, as we were accustomed to with our old phones.
