LG has been busy making folks aware of their new Knock Code feature for the past little while with the new F Series and L Series devices. Now, they are going to roll out what is a maintenance release upgrade for the G2 and G Flex smartphones starting next month.
In case you’re unaware of Knock Code, it allows you to unlock the device with a predefined knock pattern. The user taps or “knocks” anywhere from two to eight times in the quadrants in a specific sequence to wake and unlock the smartphone.
LG has noted they’ll be rolling out the update globally come in April. If you’re looking for the full press release, you’ll find it below.
