Last time we heard about it, the LG Thrill 4G is supposed to be released in the first half of this month. Unfortunately, it looks like AT&T won’t be able to ship the devices in due time. The company has issued a press release saying that they has delayed the launch of the LG Thrill 4G until August 21 (for unknown reasons). Not a huge delay, just a few days, but still a delay. The LG Thrill 4G is the AT&T-branded and customized rehash of the international LG Optimus 3D. It was first announced at CTIA four months ago and will become AT&T’s fifth 4G smartphone. The LG Thrill 4G features Android 2.2 (upgradeable to 2.3), a dual-core 1GHz processor, a 4.3 inch WVGA 3D display, Wi-Fi hotspot capability, GPS, dual 5-megapixel cameras with 3D video recording, 8GB of internal memory and microSD card support.
