LG shows solar powered phone at MWC

LG showed its own solar powered phones at the Mobile World Congress 2009 in Barcelona. The solar battery will deliver three minutes of talk time for every 10 minutes of sun love, which probably means avoiding using this particular handset when overcast.LG Cell phone news

The prototype LG handset doesn’t have a name, the thing looks like it was thrown together in a week, but hey, as long as it works, we know LG can take care of the design side of things by the time production rolls around.
