LG Renoir KC910 – GPS program with Offline maps

Hi guys, today I wanted to share this with you all a GPS program which has a lot of maps.. (not everything though), but for now is only support countries not cities. I am sure that in the future we will have the solution all LG renoir users waiting. LG Cell phone Software

It is a personal initiative to develop a free navigation solution for Java enabled mobile phones (LG renoir). All map data is stored locally on your phone. This ensures  We-Travel works offline in places where there is no mobile phone reception, abroad or in the countryside. And as a plus, there are no telecom costs associated with route calculation or map display! LG-Renoir info

I installed the file system version. The “all in one” jar version cannot be loaded in LG renoir because the jar file is too big even with small map of greece (8mb).

I had to install the main program in phone memory ( i had problems when i tried to install it to memory card). Then i installed the maps and the voice in a folder in memory card. Inside this folder i created two folders. One “Map” and on “Voice” and i extracted the map and the voice zips i download from the site.

The internal gps of the LG renoir seems to work fine. We will stay tuned with this one!

I try to install we-trvel but after installing he can’t find any maps. Wen I try an older version he has got problems with the size of the file. Is there an option to download the maps seperately ?

I have a new phone kc910 I LOVE IT, But only one thing the GPS it not work as all , I don’t understand why some web side still says kc910 work with GPS?

i have kc910 lg i flowed the guid of how to gps of line but no luck
