I have just updated my LG Pop to the latest version V10G (from V10f to V10g). But so far I have found nothing that was changed or different. LG Cell Phone Software

Easy tutorial on how to update your LG Pop to firmware V10G Steps:

Plug in your usb and select ‘PC Suite’ on your phone and it should automatically open LG PC Suite III ….. (if you haven’t got LG PC Suite III – then it SHOULD download it for you)

After this you wait a couple of minutes (about 3-5) to let is properly load and let it look for updates for you LG PC Suite and for your LG POP phone ….

you then click on –> Tool and then *Phone Upgrade*

If you want to update your LG PC Suite then you click on –> Help and then *Update*
Simple ………………..

LG PC Suite III also looks for updates itself too but you have to wait something like 5mins before its comes up with a small message saying something like ‘New Update Available’ – or something like that. LG-Pop info

No matter how hard i try I just cannot update the firmware, how could updating firmware of LG phone so hard to do?

i cannot get my lg pop to connect to the computer all it does is charge the batt then says battery full please unplug power supply to save energy?! please help i want to put my pics on my computer!!

Hai..! friends i have connected GD510 with pc and browsing with good speed.
notes:
1.use pc suit cd to install LG PC suit III
2.just switch on mobile & connect with data cable, change the the mode as “PC suit”
3. now pc suit installed in pc detects & launch Pc suit. select “internet” icon,select country,select ‘gprs or 3g ‘ on next tab
4.network as others(optional)
5.type APN (same present in mobile ‘APN’ eg: TATA.DOCOMO.INTERNET
6. give dial no as *99#
7.others are optional
8.do it,if you cant just contact me ‘priyan.info@gmail.com’

I downloaded PCSuiteIII. To work in Win7 I had to run “Troubleshoot compatibility”.
I followed all your steps up to “click on –> Tool and then *Phone Upgrade*”. However, a window said there were no newer upgrades for my phone… but it’s running V10A!
Is this region or carrier specific?

hey there is no lg gd510 option when it says select for downloading usb software. please help me what should i do.

subroto … go to options and help and select your country and language. as india and english. and then try again the option of lg gd510 should be available by then

mi celular lg 510 pop se reinicia cada ves que lo prendo carga lg y luego se pone negra la pantalla y luego vuelve a cagar lg no llega a las opciones ….ayuda!!!
