LG outs Android 4.4.2 Kitkat update for the Korean G Flex

LG company has begun rolling out the Android 4.4.2 KitKat firmware update for LG G Flex. The first market to get it is LG’s homeland – South Korea.

The update is available on all three Korean telecoms – SKT, KTF and LG U+ (F340S, F340K, and F340L models). The new firmware will bring the G Flex slate to the latest Android version. It will also bring Knock Code feature, improvements to the Bluetooth Car-Kit, as well as performance improvements which come with Google’s ART. Sadly, the update doesn’t seem to include is support for 4K video.

It’s still unknown when LG will issue the update for the international G Flex, but we are hoping to see it soon enough.
