The LG Optimus Vu has already been launched in South Korea, but it looks like it’s not going to be the only market to sell this Android-powered superphone. The LG Optimus Vu has been spotted passing through the FCC’s testing procedures. It has the model number VS950, and according to Bluetooth SIG, the device is made for North America. So this must be Verizon’s own LG Optimus Vu.

The LG Optimus Vu features a huge 5-inch IPS display with 1024 x 768 pixels, a dual-core 1.5GHz Snapdragon processor, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal memory, 8MP rear camera with 1080p video recording, 1.3MP front-facing camera, LTE connectivity, Wi-Fi, GPS, 3.5mm headset jack and microSD card support. The handset should run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

So far we’re unable to tell you just yet when the LG Optimus Vu will land at Verizon or for how much. But do stay tuned, as these things are usually leaked sooner rather than later.
