We’ve heard rumors about the LG Vu’s successor, the LG Optimus Vu, for a little while now, and just as we imagined the LG Electronics has officially unveiled the super smartphone in South Korea. The Spectrum is the newest high-end 4G LTE-equipped Android device, and for those of you excited to get your hands on it, LG has not only reveals the main specs, but also the carriers right along with it. The LG Optimus Vu 4G LTE will be available via two of Korea’s major mobile carriers (SK Telecom and LG U+) in South Korea in early March, and is LG’s first handset supports a 5-inch IPS 650 nit display at 1024×768 with a 4:3 aspect ratio. It runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread (with Ice Cream Sandwich coming shortly), and features a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm processor, 8MP rear camera with auto-focus and LED flash, 1.3MP megapixel front camera, 1GB of RAM, 32GB storage, HDMI, LTE, DLNA, Wi-Fi Direct and T-DMB, and a 2080 mAh battery. All of this is in a slim package at only 168g, and measuring in at 139.6 x 90.4 x 8.5mm. LG Cell Phone News

Pricing for the LG Optimus Vu hasn’t been announced yet, there is still no info on the worldwide availability though. But if we are lucky enough to see it announced at the MWC 2012 at the end of the month, we’ll know more about them shortly. LG-Optimus info
