Androidpolice has broken what appears to be the first image of the LG Optimus Vu Android smartphone headed for Verizon this Summer that will also feature support for their LTE (4G) network.

In case you don’t remember the LG Optimus Vu, it has a large 5-inch IPS LCD display resolution of 1024 by 768 pixels and an odd 4:3 aspect ratio. Also, it features a dual core Snapdragon S3 processor clocked at 1.5GHz with an Adreno 220 GPU (MSM8660), 1GB of RAM, 32GB internal storage, an eight megapixel camera on the back with a 1.3 megapixel shooter on the front, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich right out of the box.

Anyway, the Verizon’s version of the LG Optimus Vu is said to launch this Summer, hopefully we’ll learn more from LG in the coming weeks and get this cleared up.
