Do you know if there is some sort of ‘service menu’ on the LG Optimus M? Here I got the secret menu to come up. On the LG Optimus M dial ##7764726690, it will ask for your spc code. Not sure if all of them have the same code. LG Android Phones
After entering the spc code you get a menu with the following
- Service Prg
- Field Tests
- Networking Select
- Data
- Browser Setting
From the browser proxy setting menu, the LG Optimus M is set to use the proxy: proxy.metropcs.net with port 3128. LG-Optimus info

My spc code is 062400 idk if they are all the same. But it worked for me
I find that 587846 works on about every metropcs phone for spc code

587846 worked on my metropcs optimus m but the menu has just limited items nothing like above.
To obtain your SPC code go to http://www.whiterabbit.org/android/.
You will see a box to enter your MIED code. then click calculate. Your MEID is behind the battery. My SPC is 800040
