The LG Optimus LTE that was spotted in official images last week has been just announced by Bell as it first LTE-capable Android smartphone.  LG Cell Phone News

The new smartphone is targeted at young users, it runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread, and comes with a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor. It also features a huge 4.5-inch display at 720×1280 pixels, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP camera capable of 1080p video recording and a 1.3MP front-facing camera, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi, GPS, a microSD slot and access to HSPA+ networks (in addition to 4G).
