Telus will apparently become the second Canadian mobile carrier to launch the LG Optimus LTE (after Bell, which is selling it since last November).

It was unclear when Telus will introduce the LG Optimus LTE, but the device has appeared at LG’s official website, and is listed as “Carrier: Telus.” LG Cell Phone News

The LG Optimus LTE features a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor. It also features a huge 4.5-inch display at 720×1280 pixels, 1GB of RAM, an 8MP camera capable of 1080p video recording and a 1.3MP front-facing camera, Bluetooth 3.0, WiFi, GPS, a microSD slot and access to HSPA+ networks (in addition to 4G) and Android 2.3 Gingerbread (upgradable to Android 4.0 ICS). Bell is offering the LG Optimus LTE for $99.95 with a new 3-yr contract, so Telus might launch it for the same price.  LG-Optimus info
