LG has confirmed that its new dual SIM Optimus L5 II smartphone will be available in Brazil first. Both single and dual-SIM versions of the phone are also slated to be coming to South and Central America, Europe, Asia, Russia, the Middle East and Africa soon after.
In case you have forgotten about it by now since it was announced back in MWC 2013, the LG Optimus L5 II is the mid-end model of the L series phones, comes with a 4 inch WVGA IPS display, QuickMemo, HSPA, Wi-Fi, A-GPS, 5MP rear camera with LED flash, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, 1GHz single-core MTK processor, MicroSD card support and a 1,700 mAh battery. The handset is 9.2mm thin, and runs Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
For now the LG Optimus L5 II was still unclear when exactly the handset would be launching. It is expected to retail for around €180, since the more capable Optimus L7 II is priced at €250.
