LG Optimus GT540 coming to UK in May

LG’s most advanced upcoming Android handset, the LG Optimus GT540, has shown up on LG’s official blog in the UK, suggesting it could arrive there soon. We first saw the LG Optimus GT540 at the CES 2010 this year. It will sport a 3-inch HVGA capacitive touchscreen and ship preloaded with Android (version 1.6 or 2.1, it’s not clear yet which of them). Otherwise, there will be a 3-megapixel camera, WiFi, Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, DivX and Xvid supports, 3.5mm jack, and a social networking client that allows users to easily connect with sites such as Facebook, Twitter, and Bebo. The LG Optimus GT540 is also equipped with a microSD card slot that supports up to 32GB of storage and a 1500mAh battery for long-lasting performance.  LG Cell Phone News

Though the price of LG Optimus GT540 is announced, but it’s fully confirmed that it would head to UK on May 1st and should be available in four color versions: black, white, silver and pink.
