LG announced that its newest Optimus G Pro flagship smartphone will be available in South Korea next week. The LG Optimus G Pro will cost 968,000 KRW ($897) in Korea. That’s certainly a lot of money, but don’t forget that phone prices are always higher in Korea than in Europe and the US.
Like the latest Google smartphone (the Nexus 4), the LG Optimus G Pro will run Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean from day one. The LG Optimus G Pro’s main features include a full HD 1080×1920 5.5-inch display, a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor, a 13MP rear and a 2MP front-facing camera, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage (SDcard expandable), LTE connectivity, Bluetooth, Wifi, GPS and a 3,140mAh battery with wireless charging support.
This week, LG will host a press event in Barcelona (Mobile World Congress 2013), where it’s probably going to announce international launch details for the LG Optimus G Pro.
