We’d be lying if we said we were surprised but AT&T and Sprint have officially announced the LG Optimus G. The world’s first LTE smartphone to feature a 1.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 pro processor.

The LG Optimus G sports a 4.7-inch True HD IPS+ display, Android 4.0 ICS, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, QickMemo, Live Zooming, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, MicroSD card support, and a powerful 2,100 mAh battery. For unknown reason that AT&T will offer the 8-megapixel camera on the back, but Sprint will offer the 13-megapixel variant.

If you’re in the market for a new Android smartphone on AT&T or Sprint and simply want the highest-end phone available, be sure to look into the LG Optimus G when it lands this month!
