Verizon has added the LG Optimus Exceed 2 to its lineup of Android smartphones. Also called the LG L70, the Optimus Exceed 2 is an entry-level handset, which was announced by LG earlier this year, sports a 4.5-inchIPS display with 480×800 pixels, a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor (Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM8610) with 1GB of RAM and 4GB of built-in storage, an 5-megapixel main camera with LED flash and a VGA user-facing camera, microSD card support, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and a 2,100 mAh battery. The LG Optimus Exceed 2 runs Android 4.4 Kiktat and comes with an assortment of LG custom software, such as KnockON, Knock Code, QuickMemo and Q Slide.

It supports the Big Red’s LTE network and costs $79.99 sans contract or long-term commitment with the carrier. The device can be purchased right away from Verizon’s online store.
