Good news Sprint and Virgin Mobile subscribers, it looks like the LG Optimus Net will be headed you way and will be rebranded as the LG Optimus Elite. The device was originally announced for the Italian and Canadian market (announced back in July of 2011), and now it is apparently on its way to the US via Sprint and Virgin Mobile, probably be available very soon. LG Optimus Elite is said to sport a 3.2-inch touchscreen with a resolution of 320 x 480 pixels, 800 MHz single-core processor, 512 MB of RAM, 4 GB of built-in storage, microSD card support, NFC, a 5 MP camera with LED flash Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, and A-GPS. (

The LG Optimus Elite will also be coming with Android’s Gingerbread 2.3 on board, and while there’s no word on whether the device will be getting an upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 in the future, it would be hard to believe that LG has no plans to bring ICS onto the device. No word on pricing or availability, but we expect more details to surface over time. LG-Optimus info

I just purchase a LG Optimus Elite, I love the phone, except the battery drains itself at night when not in use! How do I stop this problem?
