Well, according to the latest Korean press release from LG, its upcoming flagship Android smartphone will be simply called LG G2. It’s also confirming that this device will be the successor to the original LG Optimus G.
The LG G2 will sport a 5.2-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The device will feature a Snapdragon 800 chipset with a 2.3 GHz quad-core Krait 400 processor, 13 megapixel camera, LTE radio and dual-speakers, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and the smartphone is expected to be officially unveiled on August 7 in New York, but it will probably not hit shelves next month.
