A couple of days ago we brought you news of an upcoming and as yet to be launched LG device called the Optimus G Pro. We said it would ship with LTE support and a 5.5 inch HD display. Today LG shows us more information about the Optimus G Pro.
The LG Optimus G Pro is the newest high-end 4G LTE-equipped Android device, and for those of you excited to get your hands on it, LG has not only provided the launch date, but also the price tag right along with it (in Korean markets).
We’ve seen leak after leak, so it’s finally good to see the device in more official terms. As far as specifications go, we’re looking at a device with a 5.5-inch 1080p Full HD touchscreen with a 400PPI and 1920×1080 pixels, a quad-core 1.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor, a 13 MP rear camera, a 2.1 MP front-facing camera, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB of internal storage, microSD card support, all the usual connectivity options, a 3,140 mAh removable battery with wireless charging support, runs Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean and comes with LG’s user interace customizations.. Its dimensions are 150.2×76.1×9.4 mm and weighs 172 grams.
The LG Optimus G Pro is said to arrive in Korean markets starting next week for 968,000 won (around $898 or €671). And it will be headed to the US market in Q2.
