LG today officially announced the Nexus 4, its newest flagship Android smartphone with specs that, on paper, should send even the most jaded smartphone nerd into a bit of a frenzy. It’ll be available on November 13 in the US, the UK, Canada, Germany, France, Spain, and Australia for $299 (8GB version) unlocked, and the 16 GB version will go for $349.

To refresh your memory on just how powerful the LG Nexus 4 really is, the official specs are listed as:

  • 4.7-inch 1280×768 True HD IPS+ touchscreen with Gorilla Glass 2
  • 1.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro CPU
  • Android 4.2 Jelly Bean
  • 2 GB of RAM
  • 8 or 16 GB of storage space
  • an 8 MP rear camera and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera
  • HSPA+ support (no LTE)
  • wireless charging
  • NFC
  • 2,100 mAh battery
  • 133.9 x 68.7 x 9.1 mm
  • 139 grams.

It’s certainly one of LG’s best smartphones this year, standing next to the iPhone 5, and the Galaxy S III.
