While TELUS announced a new LG touchscreen feature phone (the LG Vu Plus), Rogers has launched another new LG feature phone – the LG Neon 2, which builds on the success of the original LG Neon, launched way back in 2008. LG Cell Phone News
The new LG Neon 2 comes with a slideout QWERTY keyboard for the texting minded, a 3″ WQVGA touchscreen display (240 x 400) (was a 2.4-inch display with the fist Neon), a 2 megapixel camera with video capabilities, Bluetooth, an MP3 player and FM tuner, 42MB internal memory and can hold up to 8GB with a microSD card (was only 4 with the fist Neon). Overall dimensions of the LG Neon 2 are 107.5×52.5×15.9mm with a weight of 122 grams (was 109 grams before).
The LG Neon 2 is now available at Rogers. The phone will set you back $19.99 on a 3-year contract agreement, $69.99 on a 2-year contract agreement, $124.99 on a 1-year contract agreement and $174.99 on a month-to-month plan. LG Cell Phone Previews
