How to access the hidden menu on LG Motion 4G:

1. Go to dialer and enter ##626* then enter 6 digit code from above, then go to network select then network mode and you get this menu:

2. There’s also another hidden menu ##LGSERVICEMENU the service code is the same 6 digit one from the top there is something called GSM/UMTS settings in there:

How to get the service code:

  1. On your PC, go to and where it says MEID/ESN enter your IMEI that you get from settings then about phone then, it’s going to give out a 6 digit MSL Code & that is the service code for both of the following
  2. On your LG Motion, download and install this app to get the MSL feature=nav_result#?t=W251bGwsMSwxLDMsImNvbS5zcGxp Y2VkbWVkaWEuYW5kcm9pZC5tZWlkY29udmVydGVyIl0.

This is odd… I entered the 3845 hidden menu, looked around a bunch, come out (Although I expected a reboot, didn’t get one), go into my app’s task manager, and I find that there was the LG Hidden Menu running, the apk for the LG Hidden Menu, and… The apk-looking VERIZON Hidden Menu! Really, what’s that all about? I though MetroPCS is a sub company of T-Mobile, or did it use to be a Verizon sub-company? Anyways, this is odd…

Neat blog! Is your theme custom made or did you download it from somewhere?

A design like yourss with a few simple tweeks would really make
my blog stand out. Please let me know where you got your design. With thanks

Very interesting information. Only one question: What good is this information for? Can I change my LG Motion from CDMA to GSM with this? Or does this allow me to go from Metro PCS to Verizon? I had to ditch my LG Motion because Metro PCS is phasing out CDMA phones to T-Mobile’s GSM network but I wish I could keep my old phone. This post omits any reference to what the purpose is for accessing the hidden menu in my LG Motion.
