LG Lucid 2 for Verizon will be available April 4 for free

We’ve been waiting for LG to make the Lucid 2 the real deal, and the time has finally come. The LG Lucid 2 VS870, Verizon’s version of the LG Optimus F5, the successor of the original LG Lucid VS840, is certainly heading to carrier shortly. Of course, there are plenty of improved specifications over its predecessor, many of which should make the general consumer pretty excited.

First and foremost, the LG Lucid 2 features a 4.3-inch 540×960 qHD IPS LCD display, a 5 MP rear camera with Live Shot, Time Catch Shot, Panorama Shot and Cheese Shutter, Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean right out of the box, a 1.2 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB RAM and 8GB on-board storage, a microSD card slot (up to 64GB), 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, wireless charging (Wireless Charging Battery Cover sold separately) and a 2,460 mAh battery.

Verizon Wireless offers the mid-range LG Lucid 2 smartphone online (starting on April 4th) and in stores (in the coming weeks) for free, with a new two-year service agreement.
