It looks like that LG is to launch a very high-end standard Android powered device which would rely on a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU for all of its processing needs. The upcoming device, LG LU6200, will also come with a 4.5 inch HD (1280 x 720) display and a 8-megapixel rear camera.  LG Android Phones

In addition, the LG LU6200 is going to be running the open-source Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, LTE connectivity, 1GB of RAM, Adreno 220 GPU, NFC, Wi-Fi, 1.3MP front-facing camera, and a 1,830 mAh battery. All this will be stuffed in a shell weighing just 123 grams and having a profile of just 10.5mm. LG Cell Phone News

The LG LU6200 is expected to be released in South Korea on September 26, and it seems this baby will debut in South Korean and then probably be transferred outside of peninsula.  LG Cell Phone Previews

We’re certainly happy to see all those Snapdragon-powered smartphones popping up like mushrooms after the rain. This should result in lower costs of such devices which is a good thing, gotta admit.
