LG Electronics has just introduced a smartphone based on Google’s Android operating system in South Korea market, and it goes by the name SU950/KU9500, as it seeks to boost its smartphone line-ups. LG Android Phones

LG, which is fighting an uphill battle against leaders Nokia, Blackberry maker RIM and Apple, plans to boost smartphone offerings with some 20 models this year, half the offerings based on the most popular AndroidLG Cell Phone News

The LG SU950/KU9500 model will be sold by the mobile carrier KT and SK Telecom in Korea. Like the upcoming LG SU2300, the LG SU950/KU9500 android smartphone is going to be running the open-source Android mobile operating system with 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon CPUs, 3.5-inch AMOLED 800×480 touchscreen displays, and 5-megapixel cameras. As for the release date, the LG SU950/KU9500 will be available in June and be launched in South Korea. The pricing hasn’t been mentioned and when it will be available elsewhere in the world, we have no idea.
