LG’s latest Android smartphone, the LG G Pro Lite, is going to be released this month in South America. Not long after that, the handset will be introduced in Russia, China, India and various markets in the Middle East and Asia. The LG G Pro Lite comes in both single SIM, and dual SIM editions.

Running Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean, the LG G Pro Lite features a 5.5-inch qHD (960 x 540 pixels) LCD display, dual-core MediaTek MT6577 1.0 GHz processor, 7.2 Mbps HSDPA, 1 GB of RAM, 8 gigs of on-board storage along with a microSD card, an 8 MP snapper with a backside-illuminated sensor and a 1.3 MP front-facing camera. The LG G Pro Lite measures 150.2×76.9×9.4mm and weighs 161g.

No specific launch dates were given, but the new smartphone will certainly be available to purchase starting this month, in two color versions: black and white.
