On my ks360 its the same problem. Ive spent about R100 and something rand on a game that costs R20 simply because each time i try to download a grey screen pops up that says ‘Download failed.’. if anything has failed its me cz ive wasted all my airtime and i still dont have the game i payed for about 6 times because of a software error. Ive found that not only cant i download that particular game, but anything for that matter, even some things that ive managed to download before.

OMG! GTFO! i c there r lotz of complaints so lemme try answer all yr probs. 1. do NOT try to update firmware yrself unless u kno wat u r doing. there is a java prob with the ks360 which causes sum midlets to crash, eg Silent Hill 2. u can dl anything using yr pc and then copying it to yr fone. the pc suit sumtimes takes a while to recognise yr fone. also make sure yr fones connectivity settings r ‘data service’ for net etc and ‘mass storage’ wen sending and recieving files. 3. u shud b able 2 use opera mini fine 2 dl files coz ive used 4 and 5 (go to http://www.onegaiblog.wordpress.com if u wanna know how to make 5 work on yr fone among otha geek stuff). 4. if u get download failed msgs on yr fone it’s usually coz u lost yr connection which can be caused by a poor network service, server probs at the otha end or running out of airtime. 5. i reiterrate, if u want to update the firmware get a friend who knows wat they r doing to help u or search forums and get a couple of opinions. dont try and do it yrself or take the advice of a single poster coz if u mess with the firmware, it voids yr warranty. if u hav sum otha questions feel free to ask.

Just one thing that annoys me about opera mini, when u download something it usually gives the option to ‘open’ or ’save’. ‘Open’ opens your phones browser to download the file, and ’save’ uses opera mini. I have to always use ’save’ because when i use my phones browser i get download failed, but sometimes it only gives me the option to ‘open’ which means i wont be able to download it. Annoying..

i love my lg ks wen i got it and i could download anything on it but the solution is here now simply go to any free download application site online download any app themes games to ur flash or system then transfer to ur phone thru a usb cable and copy the file to other and then go to others on ur phone and install it now i have all i ever wantd on my lg ks am so so happy

Omg u lot are so stupid, the lgks360 already comes with a shitt ass browser so why u wanna waste all ur airtime trying to download a little file? U shud just dowload opera mini 5.2 browser from ur pc and install it on ur ks360 if ur not too stupid to do that :L with opera u can browse lie u woulkd on a pc and it is using all ur brandwidth so it goes well fast… However, only use it if u got unlt gprs usage coz u end up paying 1.50 for every website u use
