It is solution to crazy keypad(LG KE970 Shine). Any keys work, another not, sometimes without touching start to repeat some arbitrary digit. So that is solution…  LG-Shine info

If removing J301 not solve your problem it´s because the other ic like J301 is damaged , it is placed in the left ( down) side of the scroll key.

I had the problem with keys 2,5,8 ,0 and power key ( only powered on and not off) .
The numeric keyboard is connected to the navigation keys by the flex cable that´s why the problem. LG Phone Problem and solution

If you want you can just remove it but i advice you to replace for a working one.
