LG GT505 Flash!!

So if you still want to flash your LG GT505, follow my guide:

  1. Download the LG GT505 Mega Pack contains everything to flash your phone: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=2WLLVPH8
  2. Unzip the contents, go to "Software 1", Run the installer by typing the key provided. (An error message will appear at the end, press OK)
  3. Copy the software located in "Software 2"In the folder C:\Download then apply the registry key C:\Download\LGDP2_CS.reg
  4. Run the script located in "Drivers USB\installme.bat"
  5. Turn off your phone, press the Volume + (no icon silent), while keeping it pressed, plug the USB cable. Release the button after 3 seconds.
  6. Your computer will install the drivers, if it can not find it, give it the file "Drivers USB.
  7. Your phone part load mode, let it load …
  8. Run the executable LGDP2_V35_UMTS.exe then click OK
  9. In the window that appears, check only the box COM1 then select the DLL located in "DLL\GT500_090601_MP.dll"
  10. Click on "Run Download Configuration"And then select the line COM1.
  11. Unplug the cable, then redo the operation Volume + connecting the cable. Buy button "SET". A number should appear in"UsbAddr”. Repeat if it does not work.
  12. Your phone part load mode, let it load …
  13. In LGE Image Click "Add” and select all files in the folder visible "Firmware_V10B"
  14. Do the same for LGE GDFS
  15. Click OK repeatedly to close all windows
  16. Click on "Start"Top left
  17. Unplug the phone and redo the operation Volume + connecting the cable.
  18. The flashing starts alone, you have to wait!

Great help if it works, im afraid to try without a better english version written up as i dont want to damage my phone? Can anyone hook me up with one thats easier to understand? For example, what is the SET button?

blem it means u shall copy the .exe file from the unzipped folder LG GT505 Megapack\Logiciel2 to C:\DOWNLOAD … after that doubleclick the file LGDP2_CS.reg and click ok in next window to add the information into the registry

first I felt hopeless when my phone got frozen after it fell down from my hands

A lot of users complaining about “failed to open dll” it would be good to give some advice to fix. Running WinXP 32bit and i have the same problem.

Copy meflash.dll from C:\DOWNLOAD\EMP_DL_USBDriver to C:\DOWNLOAD

cant get usbaddr work … tryed so many times , and i dont get it , how do i obtain that number . Using windows 7 x64 , and also phone enters charging mode while not pressing volume up button , but either ways its not working , what to do about usb drivers , now when i press volume+ and plug it wont do a thing , any1 help !!!
