Sprint and LG have just announced the availability of the G3 Vigor, which effectively is a rebranded LG G3 Beat that was landing in South Korea two months ago, where SKT, KT, and LG U+ are all offering it.

The LG G3 Vigor will be available online and retail stores at Sprint starting on September 19 (which is this Friday). It will be free on Sprint’s Easy Pay if you sign a new two-year contract of $12.50 per month with the carrier, and he full retail price of the LG G3 Vigor is $299.

Obviously the LG G3 Vigor isn’t a high-end offering, but a mini version of the original LG G3. Following is the ey features of the LG G3 Vigor:

  • 5-inch 1280×720 IPS display
  • 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm MSM8926 processor
  • 8-megapixel rear, 1.3-megapixel front cameras
  • 8GB storage, microSD card slot
  • 1GB of RAM
  • Android 4.4.2 running beneath LG’s custom user interface
  • 2540mAh battery
  • 4G LTE and Sprint Spark connectivity

The LG G3 Vigor will certainly appeal to those who don’t necessarily crave the latest and greatest in terms of specs, while still being a very decent performer. Oh, and did we mention it will be free?
