We know that it always brightens someone’s day to know that a new software update is inbound for their device. Today LG has committed to updating its LG G3 to Android 5.0 Lollipop in south Korea this week via the three big Korean carriers – LG U+, Korea Telecom, and SKT. The rollout should eventually expand to other countries as well; US and European is likely to be the next to get the Android 5.0 Lollipop update.

It’s not mentioned whether LG G3 will receive an OTA update via all three Korean carriers, but If you live in South Korea you will be able to grab the update directly at the download center of LG’s South Korean website.

It’s still unknown when LG will issue the update for other LG devices, but we are hoping to see it soon enough.
