Last month we head anything about the Android 5.0 Lollipop update for the LG G3, it was supposed to arrive before the end of the year. It’s not quite December yet, but European LG G3 D855 Android smartphone is due to start receiving the new software version today. This could in fact be the first Lollipop update for the LG G3 D855.

The upgrade could be administered through LG’s Mobile Support tool, which means you’ll need a PC and a USB cable to grab this one. Full instructions on how to do it are available here. It’s not a very complicated process, but OTA updates are always more convenient for smartphone and tablet owners.

The update is an around 1.1 GB affair, and you’ll need to have at least 50% of your battery left when attempting to apply it. After doing that, you’ll be on software version D85519C.
